Travelling By Train or Underground

The nearest underground stations are:

	King’s Cross – (Northern, Victoria, Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Piccadilly lines)
	Angel (Northern Line)

The nearest mainline railway stations are

	King’s Cross (Mainline and Thameslink)
	St Pancras
	Euston

Vernon Square is located approximately 8 minutes walk away from each of these stations (see below).

Walking from King's Cross

Come out of the main exit of King's Cross Station, facing south, turn left and walk along Pentonville Road.

[Note: if you are coming out of the Thameslink exit then you need to turn right (instead of left) along Pentonville Road]

Cross the Caledonian Road and continue to the pedestrian crossing. Cross to the south-side of Pentonville Road and then turn right, down Kings Cross Road

Continue for two or three minutes until you come across the five way junction with Penton Rise, Wicklow Street and Swinton Street. You'll have the Islington Thistle Hotel in front of you.

You've arrived! The SOAS Vernon Square venue is the tall converted Edwardian building on your left, through the large green gates.

Travelling By Taxi

If coming by taxi, ask for the Thistle Islington Hotel, Penton Rise or Percy Circus.
