As Web sites and intranets become more complex many organizations are now planning to use specialized content management software (CMS) applications.

Teh Exchange covered understanding what CMS is and does, and how to set about selecting and implementing a CMS.

The presenter was Martin White, Managing Director, Intranet Focus Ltd. Everyone attending the event received a CMS checklist that has been developed by Intranet Focus Ltd, and a briefing paper on implementing a content management application. The session focused on management and operational issues, and not on the technology of CMS applications. This was a free event and places were limited.
