Feedback about previous Exchange event:

Paul Pedley is an excellent speaker. Very knowledgeable. Would definitely come to another event. Price was reasonable as well.

The seminar was run as an interactive session in which delegates were encouraged to share their experiences of trying to ensure that their website or intranet is data protection compliant, and to bring along any practical difficulties with data protection that they were currently facing.

Paul was writing a book on legal issues in information work for Facet Publishing and has recently written an article on data protection for websites and intranets for the September 2002 issue of Business Information Review.

All attendees received a practical checklist of what to include in a data protection or privacy statement, as well as a list of points to consider in order to ensure that their website or intranet complies with the data protection legislation.
