The seminar leader was Paul Pedley, Head of Research, Economist Intelligence Unit.
The Economist Group launched a new intranet for around 1,000 employees located in Europe, Asia and The Americas, and this will be used as a case study.
Delegates were invited to share their experiences, what has worked for them, and what hasn't; and to bring along any outstanding or unresolved issues in order to find out whether other delegates have faced similar situations and what worked for them, or how they would handle those situations.
Paul was a member of the Economist Group's intranet steering group for the duration of the project, and maintains an involvement in the post-implementation phase, providing input concerning taxonomy/categorisation, content management, knowledge sharing, and search functionality issues.
All attendees received a practical checklist of key points to consider when implementing intranets.
This session was a repeat of the one in July 2002. Read feedback about that event <-- CLICK

Feedback about previous Exchange event:
Paul Pedley is an excellent speaker. Very knowledgeable. Would definitely come to another event. Price was reasonable as well.
