High vs. Low Tech KM Problem

Hi all, My business unit is looking for a way to manage our periodicals and email newsletters for folks at the corporate office and in our national field sales force. Currently, we copy and print news items of interest and mail them out once a month to the field (approx. 120 people). The downsides of that are obvious. We have an intranet that the sales force use from time to time, but in our experience if we don't push information to them they won't seek it out. How can we get news to them in a clean and timely way, given their limited use of technology?
Surely some of you free pinters have tackled a similar problem in your professional lives. I'd love to have the benefit of your opinions and experience.
Thanks very much!
Annette
