Has anyone done any research into online gambling sites on the net? I have no trouble finding an actual gambling or casino site, but am having difficulties finding out about laws and regulation, ie which countries allow it, which countries are still considering whether or not to ban it etc.
I've searched generally using Google and Ask Jeeves, and had a look at the US State Dept website (hoping their country reports would mention it...). I've also searched Reuters and Dow Jones news services and come up with a million and one results! Can anyone point me to an organisation or site that might make this easier - UK and European info would be a great help.
Just so you know, I'm an Australian Law Librarian and we are currently considering banning online gambling in this country at least until we know what the rest of the world is doing...
