Hi all Free pinters

I'm curious to know what the oddest piece of spam mail you've ever received.

I regularly get spam :-( (Much too much). Spam I've received seems to fall into a number of categories
1) Porn
2) Get rich quick (Dodgy MLM schemes)
3) Get rich quick (Dodgy Stock pick tips)
4) Get rich quick (Dodgy bank transfer deals from even dodgier children of ex-African dictators)
5) Get rich quick by gambling
6) Get rich quick by refinancing loans
7) Things trying to sell me unsaleable items - herbal wonder cures, etc.

Most gets deleted without even getting read - but occasionally one slips through - especially when it does not fall into the above categories. (I wonder if anybody has ever done a breakdown of spam types and frequency?).

Today I got perhaps the oddest piece of spam ever. I'm familiar with the "university degrees for sale" scam spams - but has anybody else got a "become a LEGALLY ORDAINED MINISTER within 48 hours!!!! " spam so that you can start your own church, conduct marriages, funerals and baptisms, forgive sins and visit "correctional facilities". All for only $29.95. I'd love to know the ethics and morality of the "minister" behind this one - handing out ordination certificates that will be approved by most US states, without any question on your actual beliefs.

Regards
Arthur
