Hi all Friday Free Pinters,
I am trying to improve my research skills by utilising library information online. I have visited the Heriot-Watt University and Library of Congress sites, but found it difficulty getting information on a particular topic (ISBNs are either required or a strong knowledge of key indicators such as author, date etc).
Can someone please advise me where to find a good, clear introduction to finding information from academic sources and some of the crucial techniques needed. Not a list of libraries thanks. There are plenty of those.
I have so far looked at About.com to see if they have an Library Information guide.
Thanks
Damian
