 Food Safe Paint/Varnish

For something totally different - can anyone help me locate a UK source of a paint or varnish that I can paint the interior of my elderly tinned plate steel honey extractor (a 24" diameter 24" deep hand driven centifuge). It would be a bit expensive to replace and still works excellently but the plating is beginning to showing some signs of deteriorating. I suspect that for the short time that the honey is in contact with the drum's surface I could use any varnish/paint, but it may be that there are specific ones.

Anyone got any ideas.

Rob
