Hi. I am information officer for a private company and
I am trying to sustantiate the statement that the top three most popular (whether its in terms of attendance or viewing figures or participants or turnover or whatever!) sporting events are:
1. the Olympics
2. World Cup - football
3. European football champs - ie. the Euros 96, 2000 etc
I have undertaken endless web searching, Table Base on Dialog, viewing figures sources like BARB, a little foray into market research reports, Guinness World Records etc
Can anyone please suggest anywhere else I could try?
