I reviewed Northern Light's Special Edition on XML a while back and it was so good I thought I couldn't go wrong with this one covering Enterprise Information Portals or EIPs. It gives all sorts of up to date material on the industry, the technology, the products and the companies involved.
The material consists of articles, carefully selected sites, free documents from the Northern Light Special Collection, queries on EIPs and related subjects sent to the Northern Light search engine and weekly updates to the current literature.
The first section contains introductory material and recent industry news. There are also sections on security and permissions, taxonomies, content and information architecture, return on investment and related issues, product selection, user aspects, knowledge and management of EIPs, strategies, etc.
As it's a popular subject in the Bar I'm sure lots of Free Pinters will find it useful.
