Thank you to Free Pinter Tom Szczepanik for suggesting this site for review. He found some of the insurance information helpful, though not comprehensive. Apparently the site content is still being added to. Hopefully The resource will become more comprehensive in the near future.
Futurevantage.com provides news and resources about banks, insurance and the markets. The news mainly covers Europe but other countries are included to the extent that they are connected with European activities. And you'll find information about particular banking, insurance and market resources and various forums for all these subjects (though the forums seem to be barely active at the moment).
Futurevantage has a few other services too. You can get headlines and newsfeeds for your site. The headlines are free but you have to pay for the newsfeeds. You can sign up to receive email notification when certain relevant sites have changed and this service is also free. And you can have documents translated into five other European languages for free.
The overall design of the site is very poor and I didn't find it easy to navigate. You sometimes end up on a connected site with a different name and then the menu items change a bit. For instance, I was in the Info-on-banking site and couldn't access the markets section from there. It's not immediately obvious what exactly Futurevantage.com offers and when you use the search function you get a list of results without any indication of how many hits there are.
I'd be interested to hear what other Free Pinters have to say about this site and it remains to be seen whether they make it a bit more usable.
