I am interested in starting up a chat room for chartered accountants in Australia who work in business. Apparently the ICAA web site has the capability to link a chat room to their web site. I would like to find out how to go about implementing something similar to the Free Pint Bar email Q&As as a free service to our members who have business issues they need help with.
I would also like to determine what ongoing time and effort would be required to support such a service. I am guessing that some effort would be required to repel spam, to censor irrelevant messages and to respond in an editorial capacity to some of the messages.
This is envisaged as a free service, but the ICAA may kick in for some of the initial start up costs, such that the approach would need to be simple and affordable.
Can you please provide any advice on how to progress? Thanks, Gary. |
