Hi ,

Have been doing some work on Excel , save book, close down .

When i re-enter Excel and try to open book'Book1.xls'
access is denied. Receive warning msg 'Book1.xls : invalid file format'.

Would appreciate any insight into why this happening and possible method to circumvent the denial.

thanks
Malcolm
