I am looking to make a statistical study of all relevant Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) in the food industry over the last few years. For this I would need the key data of each of these deals, e.g. date, target company, takeover premium, stake acquired, etc.

I have come across Zephus and Acquisitions Monthly, but both are fee paying services. Is anyone able to shed any light on other sources for M&A information (free of fee based), or know of any publications which may have duplicated what I am abpout to do!
