 What is 'magic monday'

What does 'Magic Monday' mean? I'm hunting on the web, and there's no specific definition, nor where the expression came from (was it an adaptation of the Bangles' hit 'Manic Monday', or was it the other way around, or neither?)

It's one of those expressions like 'boxing clever' that have become cliches and puns without people knowing the origin of the meaning.

(Reason for asking: a client of mine has used it in a fairly important public way, and I'm not sure what he means by it or in what context he used it. Not only do I not want to betray my ignorance, but I don't want to show up his, if he's using it in the wrong way. )

Thanks
