Hi
I'm moving back to the UK (Newcastle) after a long stint in Europe. I'm a mature student librarian in my second year of BSc ILS by distance learning.
My current employment as a School Library Manager in an international school is about to end, and I am looking for another position in any type of library so that I can continue my studies.
Has anyone any idea how it works, and how I might get a student placement in a university library? or temporary work in the area?
Not being fully qualified yet seems to be putting employers off, but there must be someone out there looking for someone with my kind of experience and committment.
Thanks for your help
