WatchThatPage is a Web-based url-monitoring tool.
http://www.watchthatpage.com/

It's quite limited in functionality compared to other tools (reviewed in Free Pint No. 102), and therefore I can recommend it for only one
purpose:

To receive a composite text e-mail comprising *ONLY the new content* on each of the urls you are interested in monitoring. This is the only tool that will notify you with an e-mail containing the entire changed text on your page.

For example, if you are interested in reading four (long-paged) weblogs that update sporadically, you will receive an e-mail containing all the *new* content, daily, of *only* the blogs that have updated.

On the plus side --

(For stuff you'd rather read on paper) you can print out a custom 'magazine' you can monitor searches

Minuses include --

only daily or weekly notifications
no separate e-mails for each url monitored
no keyword notification (e.g. cannot receive e-mail only if "John"
appears in the text)
meagre online help
no response from tech support

Best,

John Garside
