 Access 97 Windows XP problem

I bought a new pc with windows XP home on it.. Access 97 doesnt work, complaining that 'there are no licences'

Ive tried all of this:

it doesnt work..
I tried reinstalling office etc but it still doesnt work... microsoft dont help..as there is nothing on Microsofts website, except for the above...
I need Access 97 as I am doing a school project+we use access97 at school + access 2000/2002 doesnt work properly with access 97.

Any help would be appreciated!

Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;DA;q241141 In short: Rename Hatten.ttf rename MSaccess.exe (ver 9) then install 97. Life IS simple ;o) MArk

Renaming the font in WindowXP doesnt work!.. I fixed it by DELETING hatten.ttf then reinstallin acess97 thanks 4 all yor help!!
