Helpful and well informed Free Pinter, Kylie Baxter, recommended this site as a Tipple and I can see why it would be of great interest to Bar patrons. It's the Word section of Microsoft's "Most Valued Professionals" Web site. It's run by a group of volunteers who can answer all your questions, basic and advanced, about MS Word.
On visiting the site, have a look through the FAQs first. You may find that your question is a standard one and you'll find it quickly enough in one of the twelve broad categories. Otherwise, you may need to use the search section, but it's quite straightforward.
Some of the other sections on the site will also be useful. There's a whole selection of detailed tutorials on all aspects of MS Word and related things. There are also newsgroups, handy downloads and a well-packed collection of useful links.
If you are interested in various programming languages and Microsoft applications you should have a look at the main Most Valued Professionals' site, too:

You'll find sites covering Access, C++, Exchange, VBnet, HTML, etc. And don't miss the links to the French and German language sites, the list of MVP sites and MVP FAQ sites. You should be able to find enough resources to answer all of your techie questions.
