I have recently been involved in setting up a database of external weblinks on our website. I am trying to find a quick and easy way of keeping this up-to-date by checking that they are all still live. Does anyone know of any software etc. that could do this for me? I don't want something that adds links I only want something that checks them.

You could try http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Site_Management/Link_Management/ , possibly also http://dir.yahoo.com/Computers_and_Internet/Data_Formats/HTML/Validation_and_Checkers/ . MS Frontpage (2000) also checks links.
