Where can I download the complete Quicktime free viewer? The full executable installation program, I mean.
When I try to do it from Apple, it insists on taking control of the computer and handling the full download process. The trouble with this is that all our network access is via a proxy and firewall on 64k ISDN, and I can't work out how to set the proxy settings. Worse still, it goes through an initial install of about 700k before it chokes on the proxy problem, and then aborts that so I have to go through the whole pre-install all over again!
I've spent far too much time already trying to do this, and given up. In the time I've already spent on getting the damn thing to work, I could have downloaded the 10mb executable file ten times. And that's on only one workstation, let alone the four others I want to do... and the two office notebooks...
