I found this odd site in BUBL.ac.uk (a very good source of well developed resources, not at all US biased). It's odd because if you go to the home page you don't find out what the site contains. Really, it's a set of business directories. Use either of the links above and you'll see what else is on offer.
Cee-mail.com has several interesting business directories but the two most interesting are its list of chambers of commerce around the world and its list of embassies and consulates.
The principle is very simple. There's a pull down list of countries and you hit the one you want. You'll find contact details and, where available, a link to the Web site of the chambers of commerce. For some countries, there's quite a list and for others there is only a handful, but perhaps some countries don't have many offices.
Similar remarks apply to the embassies and consulates section but here you select a continent first from the pull down list. You are presented with a map and links to each country's section. It's encouraging to see that even a place as small as Vatican City has a sizeable list of embassies and consulates.
Other sections on Cee-mail include directories of technology parks, free trade zones, tax havens and some other miscellaneous stuff. The trouble is that the quality gets uneven and you are whisked off to an external site or a list from another directory without expecting it.
Don't get me wrong, there are other resources on the site, but the layout could be a bit better so people know what to expect. Anyhow, some excellent stuff here and you'll also find directories of airlines, airports, ferries, tourism offices and visa requirements.
