I am doing some research into the ventilation shafts of the London Underground. These shafts pop up all around London and many have been incorporated into the Capital's architecture, for example Park Crescent NW1 has an elegant pavilion concealing a ventilation Shaft.

Does any one know of any others, or know of any works that have covered this topic in the past.
