I am looking for specific examples of companies where there ancillary business now accounts for more or a substantial amount of their business. I.e. I heard Harley Davidson now makes more money off its clothing line that it does its motorcycles.

I am also looking for any information on a narrow marketing focus that has resulted in a general increase in revenue across the board for a business. I.e. (I am making this one up) Tommy Hilfiger focuses all its advertising and marketing dollars on selling its jeans but the result is a net increase in all of its products (coats, sunglasses etc.)

Thanks and I am looking forward to any and all replies!
