With the topic 'Using ACCESS in a small library', I've seen how expert some Free Pinters are.

So, I will try with this one : in a small bibliographic access db, I would like to merge some fields in a report, horizontally or vertically. More clearly, without the blanks at the end of each field. A kind of 'trim()' function for dbase aware people.

I once asked this question to a 'guru', and the answer was to have a report per length... Nice answer, indeed.

So, I'm hoping someone has THE solution. Anyway, many thanks in advance.

With best regards,
Vincent Maes, ANMC-DI, Brussels
