Hi All
I am sure this topic as been discussed, but I am new to the site and desperately need help I have been asked to give a talk on copyright aspects of linking websites to an intranet. Is permission needed?
My users also want to know whether they can scan a document to the intranet, how long it can remain and can they then store the material for future use.
also, can they scan a document, emai it and then should it be destroyed?

what kind of licences are avialbale for using electronic databases?

I am familiar with copyright for hard copies, but the electronic field is a bit of a minefield for me

thanks
