I would be interested in knowing if there is anyone out there who has used blogs for current awareness/promotional purposes in FE colleges in the UK. I am aware that blogs are used in some libraries, but not in many, and I suspect, particularly not FE.
The blogging platform I am currently looking at is Wordpress. The advantage, amongst others is you can run it on your own server and therefore have full control.
Any experience/hints would be most welcome.
