Hi,

One of our circulation computers runs Windows 2000 Professional and lately there have been a lot of Pop-Up ads & offensive websites. I've gone to the Bar, but most of the solutions focus on XP.

Our students workers are permitted to surf the web (provided they don't go to offensive websites nor download programs) and one of them accidently may have clicked on an ad website.

BTW, we use IE and IT won't give the full-time librarians Administrative privileges w/ the computers. (The latter is a pet peevee of mine, but that's another story.) Any suggestions are greatfully appreciated!

-Vivienne
