The Internet and its environment has a long and successful tradition as an open and free exchange society. This should be kept as an important asset and culture.
But nonetheless nobody can live out of nothing and valuable service and work should be supported.
So IŽd like to suggest here to other "pinters" to follow my example (if you can afford) to support FreePint by a small or larger annual financial contribution.
I am doing this the second year now since the Newsletter is coming regularly in a nice layout in pdf with very valuable contributions to my work equal if not superior to other printed sources in the field - of which I have cancelled some meanwhile.
Even if such a service like FreePint is funded by the industry in the field - I think the most valuable recognition for the editors - from the users point of view for such a valuable service is to show it simply by a check. Especially when it is used over a long period of time.
So just ask william@freepint.com for a bill. I think he will be delighted.
Constantin is greeting from the shores of the Danube in Oesterreich. |
