Hi
I just came across the new Google calculator. Solves problems for anybody with a love of the Internet but an aversion to maths. Just put the sum you want in the search box.
I've tried a few sums:
100 Fahrenheit in centigrade
Tablespoons in a cup
10 * Pi
(5*37*93*56) / 3
Square root of –1
5*7
20 miles in km
5 foot 4 inches in cm
12 stone 3 pounds in kg
50 litres in UK gallons
50 litres in gallons
1/phi
They all work. Google even knows what a googol is but reverted to the normal search for googolplex. Oh well - nothing is perfect!
