I am creating templates for using in our library to answer inquiries. I would like to insert a date field in the document that will place the date that the research was started in that field.

I have tried using CREATEDATE - then saving the document as a template. The createdate stays at the date that I created the template. It does not change based on the date that the new blank template is opened.

Do I need to create a MACRO in order to do this??

Thanks for the help!
