 Dialog Profound and alternatives

We currently subscribe to Dialog Profound, and are relatively happy with the service, However we haven't looked into alternatives that are available for a quite a while.
We are aware of Factiva and have started to have a look at what they can offer, but I would like to know if anyone can recommend any other subscription news database. We need something that covers agriculture, food and related topics as well as general news and it must offer a daily alerting service as well as the ability to do ad hoc searching.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.
