I am researching the subject of information overload via email. One solution that has been suggested to this problem is to ban email for one day a week.

I have seen plenty of press releases announcing these experiments by organisations such as Camelot, Liverpool City Council and Nestle. But, I have not been able to find much at all about the success or otherwise. My suspicion is that the experiments were found not to work and were quietly dropped.

Has anyone in the FreePint community any experience of such schemes, or can anyone point me to any information about how successful they have been.

Thanks

Tim
