Our company subscribes to Thomson ISI "Journal Tracker" to receive scientific abstracts only via email alerts to new publications, however the service ($100) is shortly to be discontinued.
The replacement services cost between $500-1700 US Dollars.
Does anyone have any recommendations for (ideally) personalised email alerts for new papers with free/reasonably priced access to the abstracts? I am also interested in websites and RSS newsfeeds with the same information.
We are particularly interested in animal and fish biological, veterinary and disease related journals. Also human/animal medical, marine, ecosystem and environmental journals. |

The equivalent subscription service from BL is called Inside.
See http://www.bl.uk/services/current/inside.html
