The latest issue of VIP is now available. The contents can be seen at:

This issue reviews Thomson ONE Banker, which provides integrated access to well known Thomson Financial sources, including Datastream, Worldscope, Compustat, First Call, IDC, Extel and more. A second review examines the business content that can be found in the Times Digital Archive (1785-1985). This issue also includes a round-up of current research, white papers and free downloads.
Next month's (July) VIP will compare two online reference services, xrefer and the Gales Reference Library, and will pay particular attention to their business information content.
The August issue will review two new products from Dun & Bradstreet – MarketDirect which provides data on 20 million pan-European businesses and Global Reference Service which provides information on 85 million companies, including corporate linkage information.
Planned future VIP items include comparative reviews of Factiva/LexisNexis/Dialog (September), and comparative reviews of M&A products later in the year.
