 Inter Library Loans and electronic products

Does anyone have any experience of inter-library loans for electronic products ie journal articles. I have seen references to a study undertaken by Ingenta and the Univeristy of Lancaster but can't find any more information. Has anyone actually used inter libary loans for an electronic item.
