Can anyone help me identify research or data collected on what languages people speak in the UK other than our own indigenous languages? I have tried several research sources. Apparently only Local Education Authorities collect this kind of data. But I felt sure there must be some academic studies about ethnic minotiry languages and community studies or perhaps via linguistics. Could anyone help me identify where further to look? Would be greatly appreciated. |
