Hi Everone,
I am the President of the SLA Asian Chapter and while the SLA are trying to do their bit, I would like to point you at this newspaper article I found http://portal.unesco.org/ci/en/ev.php-URL_ID=17842&URL_DO=DO_TOPIC&URL_SECTION=201.html regarding Tsunami relief and help with rebuilding libraries and collections. If anyone is going to be doing any weeding of collections (in any language) in the future, please would you contact UNESCO first before disposing of anything. I'm sure that any assistance would be gratefully received, once the libraries are rebuilt.
Many thanks,
Jane
