We are a small, specialist information unit providing a service for a team of researchers within a charitable organisation. We've recently identified a need for a current awareness service, and I am trying to identify the pro's and cons of either subscribing to an external information provider, or producing our own. Having just arrived from working in a church library for several years, I'm feeling a bit lost, and can only find services aimed at the academic market (e.g, ZETOC). Can anyone suggest a provider of a CAS which would cover such topics as Environmental science/Ecology/Zoology or similar?
