I am looking for a generic menu of outputs for a business research unit, such as company report, industry report, news story, etc.

Ideally what I would like is the output, key areas covered, sources, the time it takes and how often it is produced.

I would be grateful if you could send me anything you have along these line or suggest any particularly good readings on the topic.
