Hi, I am having a bit of difficulty finding some rates to complete an assignment in international finance.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - I have spent forever trying to locate the following:
Countries: Australia, New Zealand, US:
For the dates:
- 10 Sept 2004
- 10 March 2005
1. Inflation Rates for each country at the above dates. I have looked for the CPI data on each (OECD "cpi-all items") but have trouble finding what I need.
e.g.
AUS inflation rate = 2.3% p.a. in Sept 2004; 2.4% in March 2005
NZ inflation rate = x% p.a. in Sept 2004; xx% in March 2005
US inflation rate = x% p.a. in Sept 2004; xx% in March 2005
2. 6-month Interest Rate (6 month government bills?) for each country quoted at the above dates.
e.g.
AUS 6-month interest rate = x% p.a. in Sept 2004; xx% in March 2005
NZ 6-month interest rate = x% p.a. in Sept 2004; xx% in March 2005
US 6-month interest rate = x% p.a. in Sept 2004; xx% in March 2005
I need these so that I can calculate - PPP, interest rate parity, international fisher effect, forward rate as an unbiased predictor.
