Please can you help me?
I have been trying to find information regarding the global production levels of certain chemicals and in addition need to know how much of the same are used by other companies in the manufacture of certain goods.
An example is caffeine, how much is produced globally and how much of this is used in the food / drink and pharmaceutical industries (particularly within the UK)?
I have tried a multitude of internet searches, using obvious and not so direct search criteria. I have also visited company web sites and the sites given in feature articles at freepint e.g. http://chemexpo.com, http://www.industrylink.com.
I do realise that databases are available for a fee (quite pricey) but wondered if there is any way of getting hold of the information without paying for it.

Thanks for any help!
