I read the above article in the 16th June 05 freepint newsletter by Jela Webb with interest. Does anyone know of any good resources - either web or book - that explore in detail the legal/financial aspects of setting up as an independent consultant in the information world? Also, does anyone know of any online communities of interest for people who offer each other support and advice when setting up? Or is that a naive question - and does this kind of advice always have to be paid for? I did find a useful resource online around best practice in public sector conultancy at http://www.ogc.gov.uk/index.asp?id=1003099
