 Working in and from France

I have a freelance research business in the UK which I run almost entirely online and by phone with my clients, and am considering relocating to live in our holiday home in the Charente. I know our village has ADSL which is good but I am wondering how clients would see this, or whether they would be concerned. Can anyone recommend good sites or books they have used for information on relocating permanently to France, plus whether this presents problems with clients?

Thanks for any contributions
Millie
