I have been asked to help my Cotswold town - a mere 2,700 years old - write a paper on the feasibility of establishing a local museum.
It will be a relatively small museum probably attached to the local library. The museum is intended to draw together various artefacts in an endeavour to show the history of the town from its iron-age days, through its particularly bloody place in the English Civil War, up to its present day role as a particularly attractive market town and antique centre.
The museum is intended to provide an educational resource for local schoolchildren and historical interest for our thousands of visitors who come from all over the world throughout the year.
Have any Freepinters written up such a feasibility study, or can any of you point me in the right direction please?
Thank you
Robert |

Have you contacted your County Archivist / Archaeological Officer? Imagine they could be helpful.
