I'm looking for the total size (in £) of the UK foodservice market. This would include restaurants, contract catering (canteens, school meals etc), eating in pubs & hotels & cafes, but not including drinks, hotel accomodation or catering equipment.
I've tried CatererSearch and it's given me a variety of bitty figures (£25bn for restaurants, £3.9bn for contract) but that doesn't say whether that includes school meals or hotels or pubs, for example.
I believe their figures come from Mintel, but nothing's free from Mintel and I only wanted one complete figure which seems expensive to ask of them.
Thanks for any pointers.
