 Disposing of old library books

Hello all,

I am responsible for disposing of our unwanted library books and, as part of our drive to become a carbon neutral college, I am looking for ways to either a) physically recycle them or (for preference) b) pass them on to someone else so that they can be re-used. We do sell some in the library and I am planning to sell some via Amazon; Oxfam has a recycling bin nearby, but I am sure they would have trouble shifting the volume and type of books we withdraw from stock. If anybody has any suggestions I would be most grateful.
