Attention, all patent searchers! One of the best (possibly *the* best!) free patent sites on the Web is no longer going to be free. The Delphion site (formerly the IBM patent database) has announced that they are going to a paid subscription plan as of June 1. See their announcement at <http://www.delphion.com/news-letter> for details. They'll be charging USD$75 or $150 per month, depending on which plan you choose (on sale until May 15 for USD$50 and $75). This will be quite a blow to the patent community, although I'm sure it makes sense for them to charge for such high-quality content.
