Hello:
After some disappointing online search results, I'm hoping to tap into the expertise of Free Pint's members. I've been asked to identify European companies celebrated for their marketing efforts, but not necessarily those with the highest advertising expenditures (as ranked by Ad Age's global edition). Examples in the United States would include Brandweek's Guerilla Marketers of the Year. Since these companies didn't have huge marketing budgets, they had to creatively promote their products using nontraditional media and tactics.
Are you aware of any European brands known for this type of marketing creativity? I have access to Dow Jones Factiva, Dialog, and the Web, of course. However, our library does not subscribe to print European sources since we have always operated domestically.
